The Group Licensing Representative performs functions of Group Licensing & Compensation. Assists in all functions including answering telephone calls, responding to email, and processing appointments, terminations, and background investigations. This is a hybrid role working partially in-office Lincoln, NE and partially from home.*This position will train 100% in office then move to a hybrid work environment. What you do: Ensure compliance with each State Insurance Department's statutes regarding the renewal of license and/or appointments for brokers, home office associates, and sales representatives to ensure that business is solicited by properly licensed and appointed individuals as well insuring payment to vendors and state departments. Process new cases through imaging. Keep Manager abreast of critical issues involving incomplete or pending license issues. Follow up on unanswered or incomplete paperwork, and process electronic fund transfer of commissions. Offer suggestions for opportunities to develop and improve procedures & workflow. Conduct daily work and establish, maintain, and develop procedures to ensure compliance with Insurance Department Rules and Regulations. Develop & maintain smooth, cooperative relationships with peers, subordinates, superiors & partners. Written and verbal correspondence with producers, sales reps, and State Insurance Departments. Generate and implement Process Improvement ideas. Eliminate obstacles in support of sales culture. Additional duties as required. What you bring High school diploma required. 0-2 years of related work experience. Previous experience in Customer Service and/or Insurance is a plus.
