The company also has a variety of voluntary benefits for employees to choose from.Compensation$33-$35 /hourResponsibilitiesDisassembles and overhauls engines, transmissions, clutches, rear ends and other assemblies on diesel/gasoline motorized equipmentGrinds valves, adjusts brakes, aligns wheels, straightens frames and repairs fuel pumpsPerforms welding, brazing, cutting or fabricating on engine powered equipmentMaintains air conditioning units on all mobile equipmentPerforms repairs and troubleshooting in mobile equipment electrical systemsMaintains cleanliness in areas of facilityPerforms other duties as assignedEducationHigh school diploma/GEDRequirements/QualificationsFamiliarity with computersKnowledge of hazards associated with areas of responsibilitiesAbility to sit, stand, stoop, lift up to 70 lbs., and bend for extended periods of time (up to 8 hours)Walk on all types of surfaces (uneven and/or slippery ground); ability to climb on equipmentMust be able to walk long distances, climb ladders, stairs, and stockpiles, stoop, and crawl under and into enclosed spacesMust work in all weather conditions: heat, cold, wet, dry and/or dusty conditions and near hot kiln processWill have exposure to all levels of noise that require use of hearing protectionExposure to cement, clay, limestone and various chemicals; see MSDS for more detailsAbility to work in surroundings that include heat, dust, vibration, heights and confined spacesKnowledge of all types of equipment used in the manufacturing of cement preferredConditions of EmploymentSuccessful candidate must submit to post-offer pre-employment physical examination, drug/alcohol screen, and background check.
