This position will be working onsite at a local customer location managing the day to day operations of their facilities. Oversee the contract, supervise employees, strategic partner with the executives of our client on projects and spend. Ideal candidate will be a seasoned professional with strong knowledge of the HVAC industry. Experience in facilities or any type of management role. This is a technical lead and business manager position responsible for contract execution and financial objectives of high tech Operations & Maintenance business with multiple Support Services. Leads assigned staff on individual contracts or a group of smaller contracts typically up to $5.0M in size. Meets contractual obligations and customer satisfaction objectives. Analyzes facility management business to identify & communicate to the business, potential cost reduction opportunities and additional Facility Management offerings.How you will do it Leads an operational team to provide the service offerings to assigned account(s) for the purpose of delivering optimized workplace environments, and manages the real estate/facility management budgets for customer. Responsible for meeting customer satisfaction objectives and ensuring account team meets procedural requirements for compliance with business delivery, quality, safety, human resources and health standards. Develops and maintains close working relationships with customers, to identify & communicate potential cost reduction opportunities and additional operational enhancements. Develops account expansion plans and pull-through of additional JCI offerings leveraging purchasing, supplier programs and System Products offerings. Partners with JCI sales and ops management teams. Participates in contract renewal efforts and promotes expansion of contract scope.What we look for Required Bachelor's Degree in Business, Engineering or similar or ten years' experience in a Facility's Managers positionFive years of HVAC/Facilities experience/or a parallel industryMust have the mentality to: Identify: process improvement opportunities, Plan: develop action plan for change, Implement: the change and Check: use data to analyze the results of the change and how it impacted the customer quarterly, and yearly.Ability to work around the customer's Key Process Indicators (KPI's) and think strategically for long and short term process improvements that will improve on safety, reliability and energy costsTwo years of management leadership experienceTechnical ability to program and develop graphic display of controlsDemonstrated ability to communicate effectively with internal and external customersOperations knowledge of disciplines in Engineering, sales and manufacturing.Advance MS Office computer skills, Excel, PP, process improvement software, etc.Preferred MS DegreeSix Sigma, ISO 9000, Benchmarking, Lean Thinking, certification or trainingTen plus years of experience in the HVAC industryFive years of management leadership experienceContracts and negotiation experienceKnowledge of government contracting#LI-NC1
