The ideal candidate is a proactive problem-solver, always seeking ways to elevate systems and processes. The Senior Manager, Development will champion innovation and drive improvements to ensure stability and optimal performance of supported applications. If you are motivated by challenges, thrive in dynamic environments, and are eager to drive meaningful change, we invite you to join our team.You are responsible for driving company success through performing the following tasks to the highest standards:Brings a strong technical background with a deep understanding of both UI and backend development, staying fully informed of the latest technologies and industry trends to drive innovation and best practices within the team.Provides technical leadership to the Web and UI team, driving the enhancement and optimization of HGV applications and servicesTranslates business requirements and functional specifications into technical specifications and ensure that implementations meet specifications and quality standardsImplements core components with software development best practicesHolds design and code reviewsPrioritizes Defect backlog, plan, and deploy solutions to defects and problems and apply fixes as necessary (planned and ad-hoc) across ITG applicationsresources and putting solutions in place on an expedited basisImproves functioning by automating manual processesOther responsibilities and projects as business and department needs arise What Are We Looking For: To fulfill this role optimally, you must possess the following minimum qualifications and experience:10-15 years related experience5+ years supervisory experienceSolid understanding of infrastructure and database systemsGood understanding of Angular, MVC, Web APIProficiency in SQL, Web Technologies, Microsoft Azure, IISAbility to work well under pressureStrong problem solving skillsOccasional travel  HGV was awarded four out of five stars for fostering a culture of work-life balance and family-friendly benefits, and is one of Newsweek's "America's Greatest Workplaces for Parents & Families."
