The Lab Tech performs basic technical tests on products and samples. Primary responsibility will be preparing, filling, and shipping color panel requests. Other responsibilities may include preparing and analyzing materials and samples, performing basic calculations, and cleaning and maintaining the lab. Job duties include contact with other employees and access to confidential and proprietary information and/or other items of value, and such access may be supervised or unsupervised. BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:• Must be legally authorized to work in the country for which you are applying for employment (without now or in the future needing sponsorship for employment work visa and/or permanent residence status).• Must be able, with or without reasonable accommodation, to determine the difference between colors.• Must have a valid driver's license FORMAL EDUCATION: Required:• High School Degree or equivalent KNOWLEDGE & EXPERIENCE:Required:• 1 or more years of lab experience. • Knowledge of basic math skills.• Computer knowledge for basic inputting, communication, and data analysis. Preferred:• Knowledge of basic paint concepts and property calculations.• Knowledge of basic color theory and instrumentation. TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS:5%
