Role Purpose Statement We are seeking an entrepreneurial, innovative, and strategic leader for the role of Vice President of Food Commerce, Americas Region, to drive the growth and profitability of our Food Commerce business segment. In this dynamic position, you will have full profit and loss responsibility, overseeing operational and commercial activities. You will play a pivotal role in developing regional operations and quality standards for Food Commerce as well as creating robust customer strategies to ensure relationship longevity. This position will be based at our Americas headquarters in Irving, TX.   Reporting Structure: Reports to the Chief Commercial Officer-Americas Team size: 12-13 FTEs Main Accountabilities Lead business development initiatives by seeking new partnerships, collaborations, and opportunities for growth. Identify potential markets, evaluate expansion options, and negotiate strategic alliances to drive business growth Responsible for the long-term business development of the market including the development of necessary partnerships and potential M&A projects and for curating a comprehensive product and services portfolio Foster key partnerships and curate a robust product and services portfolio Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and prospective customers Actively contribute to the formulation of the Americas regional strategy and engage in key strategic initiatives to ensure alignment with regional objectives Translate regional strategy into actionable plans, defining local priorities and targets in collaboration with functional leaders Responsible for the segment's profit and loss and accountability for delivered quality and ensuring adherence to safety-, health-, environmental- and quality guidelines, as well as applicable laws and regulations. Execute processes and standards efficiently, managing operations to achieve budget and other targets Drive economic and operating performance, collaborating with regional functional leaders (e.g., Finance, HR, Quality) to ensure efficient management and control of operations Identify and define market requirements in terms of IT, infrastructure, and supply chain, providing proactive feedback to functional leaders for continuous process improvement Define regional standards in operations and quality for the Food Commerce market, focusing on process optimization, efficiencies, food safety and operational safety Foster strong relationships with local authorities and partners, including potential joint venture partners Knowledge, Skills and Experience University degree in finance, business, or related disciplines 7-10 years of experience in managing a multinational matrix organization Proven exposure and experience in an international environment with intercultural sensitivity Demonstrated communication and negotiation skills Ability to build business relationships and interact with customers Skillful in handling all stakeholder groups and creating networks Solid experience in leading and motivating teams and managing change   Key Performance Indicators Profit & Loss Revenue Development Customer Satisfaction Food Safety and Quality Scores Operational Performance Growth and Value Creation Join us in this exciting opportunity to shape the future of our Food Commerce business segment in the Americas and drive strategic initiatives that will propel our business to new heights.
