Unlock your potential!Job Summary and QualificationsNuclear Medical Technologist - PRN/Per DiemOur Imaging Teams are a committed, caring group of professionals. We are current accepting applications for a Florida-licensed Nuclear Medicine Technologist to join our team on a PRN/per diem/as-needed basis. As a Nuclear Medicine Technologist, you will perform diagnostic and therapeutic technical procedures utilizing radiopharmaceuticals performing these procedures in a careful, compassionate and respectful manner. We prioritize patient care. If you are dedicated to caring for others, this could be your next opportunity. Tasks and responsibilities include but are not limited to: Utilize radioactive isotopes to perform organ and body scansPrepare radioactive isotopes for administration to patients in accordance with physicians' ordersAdminister and record dosagesPerform diagnostic studies on patients using scanners or scintillation cameras to detect radiation emitted and to produce image of organ on photographic filmPosition patients and adjust immobilization devicesCompassionately explain procedures to patients and address concernsMonitor, record and communicate utilizing computerized documentationMay also transport patientsQualifications Vocational/Technical education; Associate degree graduate of a Nuclear Medicine program from an AMA-approved schoolCurrent/active Florida Department of Health license (CRT)Valid NMTCB or ARRT (NM)Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification upon hire; ACLS within 6 months of hireRecent experience as a Nuclear Medicine Technologist highly preferredEKG certification preferredAbility to perform work that requires frequent standing, bending, reaching, squatting, kneeling, moving, lifting of patients and/or equipment up to 50 lbs HCA Florida Bayonet Point Hospital has been serving the Hudson, FL community since 1981.
