If these words resonate with you, we should talk.Job OverviewPosition Schedule: Full-TimeThe Firm Planning & Strategic Execution capability serves to build rigor and efficiency in Edward Jones' ability to plan and execute work effectively. We identify, synchronize, and simplify the various planning processes that exist across the Edward Jones Home Office organization. We create the conditions and mechanisms necessary to enable Home Office teams to be highly accountable, focus and execute on bringing value to branch teams and clients. And we work in partnership with leadership and governing bodies to bring one Firm Plan view to life that contemplates Enterprise, US Business Unit, Canada Business Unit and key transformational functional strategies together.This manager role is accountable for improving annual firm planning processes, establishing continuous planning cadences for the future and leading the execution of planning processes which result in a firm business plan shared with 50,000+ Edward Jones associates annually.This role is responsible for connecting the firm's business segments, business functions and other matrixed execution teams to establish clear operational priorities and tradeoffs on the firm's business plan. This role is responsible stakeholder experience through planning, communicating enterprise constraints across business functions and provides quality control of objectives, key initiatives and results delivered by multiple business stakeholders. This role requires strong influencing skills to achieve compliance with planning processes and firm deadlines. The Enterprise Planning Manager also partners to understand the status, risks and mitigation plans through execution of the firm plan and surfaces strategic topics in support of Operating Committee's monthly review of plan performance. Proactively engages with partners from Firm Strategy, Finance, Business Segment teams and Digital teams to drive outcome definition and translate strategy into execution bodies of work, often in ambiguous environments. Effectively analyze and resolve complex processes and ways of working. Ability to simplify the complex and arrive at clear tactical solutions with many stakeholders.Effectively analyze execution results across the firm plan and portfolio to surface risks for discussion in Sr. Leader performance to plan reviews. Applies strong understanding of how the Edward Jones system operates to achieve results across the Home Office, in service to branch teams and clients. Demonstrates a stakeholder centric mindset and deeply understands the impact of firm planning and execution processes to stakeholders, consistently removing undesired redundancies for efficiency and positive experience. Embodies a continuous learning and improvement mindset and demonstrates high degree of self accountability while remaining adaptive as business needs change.
