Titan continues to evolve with the operator in mind and is globally deployed supporting diverse environments and missions, empowering operator decision-making with best-in-class technology and ease of operation. ------------------------------------------------------ We're seeking an experienced Senior EE Hardware Engineer to serve as an integral part of our Engineering Team. Candidates for this role will perform research, development, integration, and testing of technologies underlying our RF-based Counter-UAS platforms. The ideal candidate will possess a strong electronic engineering background with demonstrated expertise in leading the development and fielding of complex, rugged systems for use in a military environment. Technologies you'll be expected to have expertise with include high and low-voltage electronics, PCB and subassembly design, power systems, RF/microwave amplification, and circuit design optimization. You'll develop test plans, perform data measurements and collection, and participate in hands-on field and lab T&E activities. This role will contribute significantly to ongoing R&D and continuous performance improvement of our CUAS effectors, with active involvement in all aspects of product engineering and a direct impact on real-world efficacy of critical safety systems. The candidate should have a strong background in market-deployed Technology Readiness Level 9 (TRL) devices, with the ability to successfully manage activities spanning the lifecycle from requirements definition and component selection to testing and delivery. A customer-first approach is vital, directly supporting ongoing both field and leadership feedback to reflect emergent needs and product evolution goals. The candidate will work closely with and act as a cross-functional leader for other Titan engineering teams (Software, AI/ML, QA, Mechanical, & Design) to ensure a deep understanding of system requirements and enable productive, agile decision-making as the cornerstone of Titan culture. This role's responsibilities include component and module-level PCB evaluation and design, R&D activities, mentoring of junior engineering staff, development of requirements and test plans, data measurement and collection, and in-field T&E activity. This position also requires the advanced communication and interpersonal skills needed to be a senior member of a fast-moving technical team, ensuring the successful completion of production milestones within established performance criteria. Primary responsibilities: Lead and assist in requirements definition, conduct R&D activities Identify and perform hands-on evaluation of system components PCB/Module-Level design validation and qualification testing Engage cross-team SMEs at all stages of product development Ensure compliance with operational requirements for performance, reliability, and scalability Translate complex technical challenges into actionable strategies and system architectures Review, develop, and document system-level operational concepts, design, and test plans Update peers and leadership on progress and technical challenges Remain abreast of emergent industry developments and customer-driven demand signal Setup and operation of test equipment to include VNAs, spectrum analyzers, oscilloscopes etc. Provide technical leadership for junior staff and peers Develop solutions that meet performance requirements within budgetary constraints Requirements: Must be a US Citizen The ideal candidate will have a Secret level security clearance. If you do not have one, you must be open and willing to get a security clearance. Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering (BSEE) 8 years of direct system engineering experience, or 5+ years with an MEng. or PhD Design experience with military electronics, SOSA/MOSA knowledge a plus Hands-on experience with integration, test, and troubleshooting of electronic systems Experience developing test procedures and data reports / KPMs Hands-on expertise with Vector Network Analyzers (VNA), oscilloscopes, spectrum analyzers, and other RF measurement equipment. Experience with MATLAB, LTspice, Eagle, Simulink, LabVIEW (or equivalents) Hands-on PCB development experience (Eagle, SolidWorks, Altium) Strong technical writing and communications Location/Schedule: BlueHalo San Diego facility Onsite schedule / regular business hours; this is NOT a hybrid or remote opportunity ------------------------------------------------------ Salary Range: $150k - $210k The BlueHalo pay range for this job level is a general guideline only and not a guarantee of compensation or salary.
