Contact customer representative and ascertain equipment/systems problems. Perform service and repairs on sprinkler systems for commercial, industrial and residential applications. These include but are not limited to wet (steel, copper and CPVC), dry, pre-action, deluge and fire pumps."¯"¯ "¯ How you will do it:"¯ Follow prescribed troubleshooting procedures and refer to technical manuals, part manuals, change notices and bulletins, modification notices, etc. in order to diagnose and repair equipment."¯ Read and interpret blueprints, diagrams, submittals, specifications software/systems, programs, schematics and operational product manuals."¯ Demonstrate a high level of customer service, with strong organizational skills, positive attitude, and an ability to learn quickly."¯ Must have the ability to work alone."¯ What we look for"¯ Required:"¯ 5 +years of documented experience in Fire Sprinkler industry performing service and repair to Sprinkler and Suppression systems"¯ High School Diploma or equivalent required"¯ Ability to work flexible hours including weekends to meet customer requirements"¯ Ability to participate in our on-call program Must maintain truck inventory to ensure timely response to customer needs."¯ Must adhere to, implement, and always follow safety guidelines and procedures."¯ Possess a valid driver's license and driving record that meets company requirements."¯ Follow verbal and written instructions."¯ Capable of performing physical labor to include carrying and moving equipment and tools weighing up to 70 lbs."¯ Able to work in unusual and sometimes difficult positions such as climbing ladders, scaffolding and high lift equipment up to 60 feet, working within ducts, crawl spaces, above ceilings, etc."¯ Must be able to follow, read and understand all safety requirements of the company and the customers."¯Have one of the following:NICET III Inspection and Testing Water-Based Systems NFPA Water-Based Inspection, Testing and Maintenance ASSE I50I0 Water-Based Protection Systems Completion of a DOL approved Sprinkler Fitter Apprenticeship Program Preferred: Backflow certification is a plus. #TechHiring
