Summer Product Development Internship Opportunity at ProAmpac ProAmpac, a leading global flexible packaging company, is seeking a Product Development Intern to support our efforts in improving quality procedures across our Chicagoland sites. This role will serve as a liaison between our technical and quality teams, working closely on a cross-functional effort to standardize and enhance our quality processes. Pay Rate: $20 - $25/hr. depending on education and experience. Location: ProAmpac Chicagoland sites: Hanover Park, Franklin Park, and Cary, IL. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Review and rewrite quality procedures to ensure clarity and consistency. Align procedures across multiple locations, identifying gaps in current processes. Assess test procedures at our Cary and Hanover Park locations, observing them in action. Determine missing or necessary test procedures for Franklin Park and implement improvements. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of quality standards. All other duties as assigned. Requirements: Pursuing a degree in Engineering, Quality, Product Development, or a related field. Experience using Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Power Point), Visio, Teams and Outlook. Maintains strict confidentiality and protects privacy of confidential/sensitive information. Exceptional time management and organization skills. Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously establishing priorities to meet deadlines. Ability to communicate effectively (verbal, written, and presentations) Proactive; exercises sound judgment and decision making; able to identify problems and needs and develop solutions and/or options.
