In this key role, the Senior Sourcing Manager will be responsible for the procurement of USA and Canada Capex & Facilities category, which covers expenses related to expenditure classed as Capital expenditure, facilities and MRO.   In addition to competitive base compensation, Lincoln Electric offers a lucrative annual incentive plan, student loan repayment program PLUS tuition reimbursement, medical/dental/vision, paid time off and many more outstanding benefits!      The Senior Sourcing Manager - Capex & Facilities primary function is to support the business by creating and executing procurement strategies, plans, and tenders based upon budgets, and coordinating project/order related materials, services, and engineering requirements with total transparency to the team. Specifically, this role has responsibility for the following:  • Lead specific capex and MRO strategic sourcing projects and execute tenders utilizing the LECO Ariba e-sourcing platform. • The role will also help define and proliferate global capex sourcing strategies, especially for common suppliers. This means that you may be required to lead global tenders and commercial negotiations. • You will lead a global sourcing council for Capex with representatives from key stakeholder functions, who will contribute to the creation, ratify, and proliferate the strategic sourcing plan for the spend category. • In this role, you will partner collaboratively with all parts of the business, as well as the global procurement network, and implement procurement strategies and policies, applying a structured approach. • In addition, this position will support tactical execution from the selected supply chain and help maintain performance and profitability. • You will achieve your objectives by demonstrating a clear understanding of the business structure, good communications skills, a proactive, entrepreneurial mindset, and the ability to multitask and coordinate with various functions. • The Senior Strategic Sourcing Manager Capex & Facilities is responsible for ensuring an optimized supply of quality services by:     o Clearly defining the supply chain in coordination with the cross-functional commodity team     o Documenting and communicating the supply chain strategy to cross functional personnel and management.     o Early Involvement with product development projects, in coordination with R&D, to drive supply chain optimization.     o Creating and maintaining formal strategic sourcing plans and assuring proper execution by the tactical procurement group.     o Implementing professional sourcing processes and coordinating procurement activities to deliver optimized material cost and ensure supply base meets the project's cost, delivery and quality requirements.     o Proactively driving procurement strategies - pooling, bundling, designing to cost, etc.     o Understanding the scope of, and executing supply agreements, performing risk analysis and preparing for supplier negotiations     o Identifying supply chain risks and monitoring the market forces related to supply chain      o Coordinating with various Strategic Sourcing Managers both locally, regionally, and globally for supplier negotiations to assure spending is fully optimized.   Experience & Education Required     Minimum Bachelor's Degree in Operations, Supply Chain, Business or related; Masters Degree preferred CPSM or CIPS Certifications preferred 7+ years of strategic procurement experience with a broad supply chain knowledge • Strong negotiation, communication and listening skills • Strong knowledge of Microsoft office applications • Strong leadership skills • Ability to build trust and confidence quickly and professionally. • Ability to coordinate between multiple groups in a cross functional environment to achieve objectives. • Lean process and continuous improvement focus   Lincoln Electric is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
