We are seeking a Functional Design Manager to join our DDI team in developing a case management system for our social services agency client. Responsibilities Overseeing the utilization of the organization's Business Analyst team and serving as the primary liaison between internal and/or external customers and Information Technology Teams (IT) to define business requirements for systems fixes and enhancements to meet customer and organizational objectives and needs. Building a customer-focused relationship with internal and/or external customer management teams to align project objectives and to continuously promote the organization's ability for their domain expertise and problem-solving skills. Approving and presenting recommendations on high-impact proposal/requirements documents and solutions development which is project specific. Managing the development, growth, and quality of the Business Analyst staff and delivery services to build and improve well-rounded teams. Providing domain-specific subject matter expertise (advisory) to customers and remaining current on trends in the marketplace. Facilitating and coordinating the approval of day-to-day recommendations of the business analyst team related to SLAs, operating procedures, governance structures, and metrics for process improvement. Requirements Have five (5) years of experience working as a functional business analyst on a large, complex automated systems development project, including experience organizing and facilitating JAD sessions. Show five (5) years of experience working directly with stakeholders to elicit and define requirements. Possess five (5) years of experience developing functional design documentation from requirements. Demonstrate five (5) years of experience working with Child Support Programs and automated systems. Have one (1) year of experience documenting and tracking requirements using an Application Lifecycle Management (ALM) tool (e.g., Team Foundation Server (TFS), or Azure DevOps). Understand Child Support Program objectives and requirements including, but not limited to, case initiation, locate, establishment, case management, enforcement, financial management, state disbursement unit, data analytics and reporting, customer service, knowledge of federal rules and regulations, and software systems requirements. Bachelor's Degree desired. International Institute of Business Analysis Certification (e.g., Certified Business Analysis Professional "CBAP" or similar certification) desired. Have a proven track record of successfully working in a remote capacity. Able to align work schedule with 9 AM - 4 PM Central Time. Can travel once per quarter. For this position, actual salaries will vary and may be above or below the range based on various factors, including but not limited to location, experience, and performance. In addition to base pay, this position, based on business needs, may be eligible for a bonus or incentive. The estimated salary range for this role is $110-135k.
