CNC Machinist

Our client, in Endicott, NY is seeking an experienced CNC Machinist to join their team. As a CNC Machinist, you will work closely with engineering, production and quality team to resolve issues and improve processes. The ideal candidate will have minimum 2 years of experience and strong knowledge of milling and turning operations.   Job Title: CNC Machinist  Location:Endicott, NY Pay Range: $23-$27/HR    What's the Job?  Responsible for programming, setting up, and operating CNC machines to produce precision parts in accordance with engineering drawings and specifications Create and optimize toolpaths, ensuring the highest quality and efficiency in production Program CNC Machines: Use Mastercam software to create and modify CNC programs for milling, turning, and other machining operations Machine Setup: Set up CNC machines by installing and aligning tools, fixtures, and workpieces based on setup sheets and engineering requirements Operate Equipment: Run CNC machines to produce high-quality components, monitor operations, and adjust parameters as needed Machine Maintenance: Perform routine maintenance on machines, tools, and equipment to ensure smooth operations   What's Needed?   Minimum 2 years of experience as a CNC Machinist Proficiency in Mastercam for programming CNC machines Strong knowledge of CNC milling and turning operations Hands-on experience with precision measuring tools and inspection techniques Effective communication skills for collaboration across departments Steel toed or composite toed boots    What's in it for me?
