TECHNICIAN - Biomanufacturing Lab Technician

Who We Are:We are seeking a skilled and motivated Biomanufacturing Lab Technician to join our dynamic bioengineering team. The successful candidate will play a critical role in supporting biomanufacturing activities, including protein purification, cell culture, and biochemical assays, while maintaining an organized, safe, and compliant laboratory environment. By joining our team, you will receive an additional $500 in your first paycheck, minus applicable taxes.Objectives of this Role:Perform protein purification using techniques such as tangential flow filtration (TFF) and chromatography filtration.Conduct cell culture operations, including seeding, maintenance, and expansion of cell lines.Execute cell-related assays such as viability tests, proliferation assays, and titrations.Prepare reagents and solutions following established protocols.Perform biochemical analyses, including Western blotting and related techniques.Daily and Monthly Responsibilities:Maintain laboratory equipment, including calibration and routine upkeep of cryopreservation tanks and biomanufacturing systems.Ensure proper handling, storage, and disposal of biohazardous materials in compliance with safety regulations.Monitor and maintain an inventory of laboratory supplies and reagents.Adhere to standard operating procedures (SOPs), Good Laboratory Practices (GLPs), and safety guidelines.Requirements:Requires a high school diploma or equivalent with training or coursework in biology or medical related profession.2 years: Lab technician experience in biomedical work to include performing cell cultures, using centrifugation device, preparing reagents, ordering lab supplies etc.
