We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Property Tax Administrator to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing property tax assessments, ensuring compliance with local tax regulations, and providing accurate tax information to property owners and government agencies. Pay: $33/hour The pay listed is the hourly rate for this position. A specific offer will vary based on applicant's experience, skills, abilities, geographic location, and alignment with market data. For information about ABM's benefits, visit ABM 2025 Employee Benefits | Staff and Management Team Members Responsibilities Administration of LBA's Property Tax program covering a portfolio of commercial properties throughout the United States, as well as several assets in the United Kingdom. Primary liaison facilitating interactions and flow of information between LBA functional groups (Operations, Accounting, Leasing, Asset Management) and the company's property tax consultants and attorneys. Review and monitor property tax appeal recommendations, coordinate all required forms and approvals, and ensure responses and documents are submitted to tax consultants prior to deadlines. Monitor and ensure compliance with property tax abatement, exemption and other incentive programs and annual form submittal requirements, including: Assist Operations teams with completing forms Run accounting reports and obtain other required documentation Ensure preparation of complete and accurate packages for approval Submit final document packages to consultants and government agencies prior to deadlines Manage all property tax documentation including abatement and appeal forms and correspondence, and ensure documents are maintained in appropriate locations. Assist in new acquisition due diligence process by reviewing and analyzing property tax budget reports prepared by consultants, or in some cases preparing initial estimates internally. Update acquisition financial analysis with budgeted tax expenses and communicate special circumstances to transaction teams. Assist in annual budgeting, reforecasting and expense reconciliation processes by reviewing consultant budgets, preparing backup schedules and allocations, researching variances and providing support to Operations and Accounting team members as needed. Assist with requests from lenders, buyers and others for property tax documentation. General support functions including scheduling meetings, preparing agendas, updating reports, creating presentations, obtaining signatures, and completing other projects and tasks as needed. Requirements Represent the company in a professional and courteous manner at all times. Strong communication skills and ability to interact effectively with stakeholders at all levels. Excellent organizational, problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to effectively prioritize and manage overlapping projects and workflow. Self-motivated and a strong team player with the ability to work independently and collaboratively. Ability to apply critical thinking to identify process enhancements and efficiencies. Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. Familiarity with real estate and property tax terminology. Some familiarity with property tax bills.
