PE is required!Forensic EngineerPosition OverviewWe are seeking a highly skilled Forensic Engineer to investigate, analyze, and provide expert opinions on engineering failures and accidents. The ideal candidate will utilize their expertise in electrical engineering, construction, and infrastructure to determine the causes of failures and recommend solutions. This role requires a detail-oriented individual with strong analytical skills and the ability to communicate findings effectively to a variety of stakeholders.Key ResponsibilitiesConduct thorough investigations of engineering failures and accidents to determine root causes.Analyze data and prepare reports that outline findings and recommendations for clients and legal proceedings.Provide expert testimony in legal cases as an engineering expert.Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including lawyers, insurance representatives, and construction professionals.Utilize modern tracking and analysis techniques to assess power, catenary systems, and infrastructure integrity.Evaluate the design and construction of bridges and concrete structures to identify potential flaws or failures.Stay updated on industry standards, regulations, and emerging technologies to enhance investigative processes.QualificationsBachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Civil Engineering.Professional Engineer (PE) license is preferred or the ability to obtain one.Minimum of 5 years of experience in engineering, construction, or forensic analysis.Strong knowledge of electrical systems, infrastructure, and construction practices.Experience with rail systems, including catenary and power distribution.Proficient in data analysis and modern tracking technologies.Excellent written and verbal communication skills for report writing and presentations.BenefitsHealth/Dental/Vision401(k)PTO/Sick LeaveFlexible Spending PlanSupplemental Insurance ProductsAdoption AssistanceEmail Your Resume In Word ToLooking forward to receiving your resume through our website and going over the position with you.
