Job Description: Nurse Leader - MSK Ambulatory Care Services Exciting Opportunity at MSK: Join our team as a Nurse Leader at our Ambulatory Outpatient center. We're looking for a dynamic nursing professional eager to showcase leadership skills and make a meaningful impact on our team and in the lives of our patients and their families. Position Overview: Empower and engage the workforce while leading the delivery of exemplary Nursing Care in accordance with the mission, vision, value, and goals of MSKCC.Adhere to all regulatory standards and promote patient safety. Collaborate with physician and administrative colleagues to implement all operational aspects of high-quality patient care delivery, covering ambulatory services may include the following areas:Hematologic Malignancies Adult Blood and Marrow TransplantThoracicHead and NeckEndocrinePlasticsInfusionProvide cross coverage to acute care, radiology, and other ambulatory services at the Koch Center.Supervise Registered Nurses, and nursing support staff, as well as management of Human Resource issues, including hiring, transfers, terminations, corrective action, on-boarding, training, and development.Will play a pivotal role in providing transformational leadership by building and sustaining a healthy work environment that supports and promotes excellence in patient care, clinical nursing practice and patient safety.Key Qualifications:Bachelor of Science in Nursing required.New York State Registered Nurse (RN) license/registrationNational Certification is a plus.A minimum of 5 years recent, related clinical experience Demonstrated leadership skills.Core Skills:Outstanding communication and self-awareness.Mentorship and coaching abilities to support nursing staff development.Critical thinking and problem-solving to optimize patient outcomes and operational efficiency.Adaptability and resilience to lead change and innovation. Collaboration and building trusting relationships.Understanding of financial principles, resource allocation, and cost management.
