This person will be responsible for the design and technical systems of large / complex projects from schematics through construction.Top Reasons to Work with UsCompensation: $150k-$200k + Benefits, 401k Match, PTO, etc. Work mostly remote (1-2 days / week on-site)Stable / Reputable company with a positive reputation Growth opportunity and excellent company cultureStrong Glass Door rating / employment tenureWhat You Will Be DoingDevelop system concepts and manage documentation from schematics to construction administration within the discipline.Regularly coordinate with the Supervisor on project development and performance.Possess proficient knowledge in key design areas, including: Power Distribution / Lighting and Controls / Fire Alarm / Specification writing and editing / Energy conservation and sustainability/report technical writingAct as Project Discipline Team Leader on large, complex projects when assigned.Direct and oversee project team members within the discipline, ensuring compliance with project budgetPrepare and monitor project status reports.Collaborate with the Electrical Engineering Discipline Leader to prepare project man-hour estimates.Conduct and document required code research for projects.Contribute to the development of the project cost model and design accordingly.Maintain the Electrical Basis of Design Journal throughout the project lifecycle.Perform material and product research as needed for project development.Attend project meetings as necessary.What You Need for this Position8+ years of experience in a similar Electrical engineering positionPE (Professional Engineer)In depth mission critical experienceMust be located in any of the following areas: Addison TX, Boston MA, Chicago IL, Denver CO, Los Angeles CA, Royal Oak MI, Sacramento CA, San Diego CA, San Francisco CALEED Accredited preferredExperience in short circuit and selective coordination calculation.
