CAD Designer - Precast Concrete, Structural Steel

We offer an array of services for Commercial and Industrial sectors - our portfolio consists of buildings such as Emergency Response and Motor Control Centers, Warehouses, Operators Shelters, Control Rooms, Maintenance Shops, etc.We are seeking a skilled CAD Designer/Draftsman in Lake Charles with expertise in precast concrete, cast-in-place concrete foundations, and structural steel miscellaneous structures. This person should have extensive experience in CAD drafting and 3D modeling, a strong understanding of construction/MEP drawings, and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.Key ResponsibilitiesDevelop and produce detailed CAD drawings of precast concrete components and systems.Collaborate with engineers and project managers to understand project requirements and specifications.Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations in all designs and drawings.Create and maintain accurate bills of materials for precast concrete projects.Utilize 3D modeling software to visualize and present design concepts effectively.Review and revise drawings based on feedback from team members and clients.Provide technical support and expertise during the construction phase of projects.QualificationsProven experience as a CAD Designer, specifically in reinforced concrete designProficiency in CAD software such as AutoCAD, Tekla Structures, or similar Strong understanding of construction drawings, structural steel, and MEP systemsFamiliarity with 3D modeling techniques and softwareExcellent attention to detail and ability to work under tight deadlinesStrong communication and teamwork skillsBenefitsCompetitive compensation packageEmployer-paid medical401(K), PTO, Paid Holidays and more!Email Your Resume In Word ToLooking forward to receiving your resume through our website and going over the position with you.
