Role Purpose Statement The Manager, Costing & Pricing Transformation is a strategic role supporting the Senior Director of Costing & Pricing in optimizing and integrating the organization's costing and pricing strategies. Acting as a trusted advisor, this individual ensures seamless cross-departmental coordination, efficient execution of priorities, and alignment with business objectives. Key responsibilities include driving operational excellence, transforming the Costing & Pricing team, and enhancing client value through transparent cost structures and agile pricing strategies. This role offers a dynamic and rewarding development opportunity with clear pathways for future growth within the company. Main Accountabilities •Partner with the Senior Director to understand and monitor progress toward our Costing & Pricing Transformation program and execution readiness •Partner with the Senior Director, VP of Commercial Excellence, and external consultants from time to time to identify, scope, plan and deliver transformation initiatives in areas of efficiency, cost reduction, and value creation across the Costing & Pricing function •Work closely with the Senior Director to ensure their vision and intent are effectively communicated and measured, while freeing them up to focus on strategic topics issues by resolving more operational ones •Act as a liaison between the Senior Director and internal/ external stakeholders, facilitating communication and managing expectations. •Represent the Costing & Pricing function in meetings and contribute to strategic discussions •Facilitate effective communication and collaboration between different departments and teams, offering insight into the Snr Director Costing & Pricing perspective •Develop project charters, frame and scope problems and projects, gain support and secure resources, develop detailed project plans, hold self and others accountable to delivering according to the project plan, and effectively communicate status and outcomes of initiatives •Coordinate and manage key projects, ensuring deadlines, resources, and deliverables are met •Streamline communication and workflows within the Costing & Pricing team and between other departments, such as Sales, Commercial Excellence and Finance •Oversee the integration of digital enablement tools, supporting the team in achieving accuracy, efficiency, and agility •Support the Senior Director in change management initiatives, ensuring smooth transitions during team restructuring or process improvements •Develop and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) for the Costing & Pricing team, ensuring transparency and accountability •Promote a culture of innovation, accountability, openness to change, and continuous improvement within the Costing & Pricing department •Prepare reports, presentations, and other communications for the Snr Director Costing & Pricing to present to the executive team as well departmental and functional leaders •Work closely with the Sales, Marketing, Finance, and Operations teams to ensure the successful implementation of Costing & Pricing initiatives •Coordinate and prepare for meetings, including compiling materials, developing presentations, and summarizing outcomes Knowledge, Skills and Experience •Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, or a related field (MBA preferred) •Proven experience in a strategic or operational role, Project Manager, or Business Manager •Strong understanding of costing and pricing principles, financial analysis, and business strategy •Exceptional ability to frame and structure problem solving, analytical, yet realistic and pragmatic •Exceptional drive, ownership, thought leadership and accountability while being able to balance the approach to earn the respect and buy-in of the team •Experience with (digital) transformation initiatives, particularly in costing and pricing processes, either in-house or through consulting roles is strongly preferred. •Ability to conceptualize and effectively depict complex ideas, strategies, and processes in written formats such as PowerPoint presentations, reports, and other business documentation The candidate must either be local or willing to relocate prior to the start date.
