About the Role: The Project Controls Manager (PCM) position is primarily responsible for collecting, analyzing, and reporting accurate and timely information on budgeting, progress reporting, productivity, project management, construction team, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and procurement. These activities include but are not limited to project budgeting, productivity and progress tracking, accounts payable, analyzing, forecasting, contingency management and reporting for all EPC projects within CSI Renewable Group. Essential FunctionsResponsible for the improvement of project controls systems, processes, means and methods for timely, accurate and effective data collection, analysis, and reporting.Implementation of project controls processes, means and methods on every project including training the staff, monitoring data collection and entry, measuring performance, and improving the process.Assists with project budgeting.Responsible for qualifying and training site Project Control Specialist (PCS).Ensures that all Project Control's deliverables are completed, and deadlines are met on all EPC projects.Review timecard reporting to ensure valid and accurate man hours are reported daily for productivity tracking purposes.Oversee collaboration between PCS, Project Admin and Field Engineers to ensure valid and accurate quantities are reported daily, monitor daily productivity and planned percent complete.Attends monthly meetings with project/construction team at the project site to review labor progress and productivity and reports results to senior management.Audits coding on vendor invoices, assist procurement and subcontracts with cost and tax codes.Attends monthly meetings with project managers to review progress, productivity, cost, and AP.Completes weekly labor cost forecast reports, including Wages & Burden, Labor Rate, Per Diem and Credit Card spending.Maintain a database of historical data for key metrics for each completed project.Assist with Project Close-Out Report for each completed project.Assist with input to a Project Financial Dashboard containing real time data of active projects - including monitoring of project cash flow and billing metrics.Must be able to manage relationships and coordinate with multiple departments such as engineering, estimating, accounts payable, accounts receivable, intercompany, payroll, HR, project managers, field engineers, site managers, superintendents, purchasing, directors, and VP's.The preceding functions have been provided as examples of the types of work performed by employees assigned to this job classification. About You: QualificationsBachelor's degree or equivalent in Business, Construction Management, Electrical/Civil/Mechanical/Industrial Engineering, or Accounting/Finance. Preference given for experience in Solar, Renewable Energy or Power Generation. PMP Certification desirableKnowledge/Skills/AbilitiesProficiency and/or Mastery of Excel, MS Office, Primavera and/or MS Project, Viewpoint, and document control programs.Understands basic accounting principles, time and productivity management and administrative skills.Good communication skills to deal with owners, vendors, and other stakeholders.Possess a solid understanding of utility scale solar construction processes and means and methods.Ability to read and understand engineering drawings and contracts.Knows and understand the required federal and state laws and codes.Physical DemandsFrequently works outdoors on uneven surfaces.May be required to sit or stand for long periods of time.May be required to stoop, bend, and crouch.Work EnvironmentWorks in the office 75% of the time.Tolerance for 25% travel, office mobility, and may work in varying weather conditions: hot, cold, and wet conditions.May occasionally work in areas with large industrial equipment subject to high noise levels and hazardous chemicals.To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each duty satisfactorily. What We Offer: Compensation & BenefitsSalary $90,000-$130,000/ yearCommensurate with experience, paid weekly. Posted salary ranges are made in good faith.
