Lead Summer Camp Coordinator Discovery Isle Preschool (#1054), 1655 S Rancho Santa Fe Rd, San Marcos, California, United States of America Req #9141 Friday, January 24, 2025 Spring Education Group's Early Childhood Education Division includes nearly 150 schools offering services from infant care through Pre-K/K programs, as well as summer camp and after-school programs. Summary: As a Summer Camp Coordinator at Discovery Isle, you will create, manage, and participate in a variety of new adventures ensuring that our campers create unforgettable memories and develop valuable new skills. Camp Coordinator will collaborate professionally with other staff, handle all parent communications, enrollment, plan field trips and outside vendors to promote the general well-being of the school, and the collective/individual interest of its staff and student body. Start: Late February/ Early March with Full Time Work Schedule Location: 1655 S Rancho Santa Fe Road, Suite 101 • San Marcos, CA 92078 Pay Rate: $20- $22/ hr Responsibilities: Culture: Positively influence your peers to work toward and meet the school's vision of excellence. Provides and maintains quality education programs. Ensures successful implementation of approved curriculum. Health & Safety: Prioritizes a safe, clean, and attractive camp environment. Maintains compliance with camp standards and state licensing requirements as well as all applicable state and federal laws, and internal policies and procedures. Relationship Building: Have a strong desire to work collaboratively with a talented team of diverse staff and administrators. Develop and maintain interpersonal relationships with families, students, and community. Minimum Qualifications: Previous Summer Camp Experience Must be 25 years of age or older with a Drivers License to drive buses of kids to activities. Must have 12 Units of College credits in any Major Often carrying and lifting 25 pounds or less (25-50%) and occasionally carrying 25-50 pounds (10-25%). Ability to successfully pass a state and federal background check. Strong communication and interpersonal skills and ability to connect with students.
