Responsibilities Include:: Conduct 12-15 multi-modal groups a week with adolescents and adults, and document group attendance and activity in the medical record and individualized treatment plan. Group content focused on expressive art therapies (preference for art and music therapies) and self-soothe activities. Participate in daily rounds as time allows and communicate daily with members of the treatment teams on patient progress and Conduct the Expressive Therapy consultations as Review content and share pertinent information with the treatment team and program staff.Develop and update group syllabus for skills-based, process-oriented and educational Oversee the organization, cleaning, and ordering of materials for the art room used by the entire building.Participate in weekend tasks, at a maximum of two weekend days a month, with a flexible weekday off in compensation ("comp day") to be applied in agreement with your supervisor.Collect outcome and quality data as required for reports; prepare required reports as Work with clinical teams to ensure clients have access to and are participating in pro-social Attend required supervision meetings, staff Teach group skills and therapeutic content to students, interns, and program staff as Assist the treatment team in coordinating referrals for internal and external Qualifications:: Education:Master's degree in Expressive Arts Therapy requiredExperience or certification in expressive art therapies preferredExperience:Experience providing groups in a mental health setting, preferably in an eating disorder or inpatient psychiatric settingMinimum of 2 years' experience working in a mental health settingLicensure/Certification:Preferred to have LCSW, LMHC, PsyDCPR certification, requiredKnowledge:Must possess knowledge of psychiatric group process, therapeutic relationships processes, age-specific growth and development, limit setting and behavior management, crisis management with aggressiveDemonstrated capacity to create group ideas and therapeutic group interventionsKnowledge of behavioral health, including group treatment modalitiesCrisis management skills, and group intervention skills with clientsStrong clinical and patient counseling skillsAbility to work as a member of a teamVersatility, flexibility, and a willingness to work within constantly changing priorities with enthusiasm #Walden
