Job Purpose: Responsible to manage minor model development cost activities which includes BOM maturation, ML communication across HDMA, DB Cost Correlation, Cost Roll-up/Reporting to ADC top management. Also assist on full model development activities. Demonstrate understanding of the technical processes involved in new model cost management. Communicate and lead event schedule requirements. Key Accountabilities:Lead minor model project managementRecognize problems/issue with new model developmentCommunicates effectively with other groups to establish/report accurate new model costsPrepare New Model cost presentations that explains cost/investment to ADC managementAnalyze results and investigate cost change reasonsConfirmation of cost change reasons by part for summarization and reportingReview and establish cost-based part structures for New ModelsUnderstands group business plan goals and how role/responsibility achieves those goals Qualifications, Experience, and Skills:BS in Finance, Accounting, Supply Chain Management, or Purchasing preferred or 6 years relevant experience required2-6 years of relevant experience based on education1-2 years accounting/finance (cost management) experienceNew model project management experienceUnderstanding of Bill of Materials, GML, cost systems, and design change systems Working Conditions:International travel (as required) to support unit cost roll-up and attend evaluationsOT as required during weekdays and weekends to support model activitiesNo physical requirements outside of normal office activity What differentiates Honda and make us an employer of choice?
