CNO Python Software Engineer

ManTech is seeking a motivated, career and customer-oriented CNO Python Software Engineer to join our team in the Hanover, Maryland location. Provides specialized testing and evaluation capabilities tailored to system functions.Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:Ability to demonstrate solid knowledge of Python and XML.Performing system and subsystem definition, preliminary and detailed design, design implementation, and subsystem and system integration and tests for a system.Researching requirements for a product, including CNO deployment environment, performance criteria, and competitive issues.Designing ideas for new capabilities or recommendations for improvements to existing capabilities.Demonstrated knowledge of multiple software development methodologies (e.g., Scrum, TDD, Waterfall).Determining computer user needs; analyzes system capabilities to resolve problems on program intent, output requirements, input data acquisition, programming.Ensuring software standards are met.Modifying existing software to correct errors, to adapt to new requirements, or to improve performance.Debugging and troubleshooting softwarePerforming quality control on team products.Coordinating and performing software deployments for developed products.Minimum Qualifications:Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related field from an accredited college or University7 years of programming required (with a bachelor's degree) or, in lieu of a degree, 11 years of programming experienceExperience with PythonExperience with build environments such as Gradle or MavenExperience with Object Oriented Analysis and DesignFamiliarity with Software Version ControlKnowledge of CNO environmentKnowledge of agile software development methodologyKnowledge of XML or XSLTPreferred Qualifications:Experience with SQL and NoSQL databasesSubversion/GIT experienceAtlassian Tools (Confluence, Jira, Bamboo, Crucible)Strong problem-solving skillsSecurity Clearance Requirements:Must have a active/current TS/SCI with PolygraphPhysical Requirements:Must be able to remain in a stationary position 50% of the timeConstantly operates a computer and other office productivity machinery, such as a calculator, copy machine and computer printer.The person in this position frequently communicates with co-workers, management and customers, which may involve delivering presentationsRepetitive Motions
