The successful candidate will be a key member of the Operational Risk and Resilience team, responsible for driving non-financial risk management and mitigation, with a specific focus on operational risk and business continuity management. This role demands a high level of expertise and the ability to interact with senior executives to address a wide range of risk management challenges. The VP will lead the operational risk framework, process risk and control library, operational risk assessment, and the development of key risk indicators. Additionally, the role involves managing the business continuity program, overseeing documentation updates, and facilitating testing activities. Applicants for the VP position should possess an undergraduate degree in a relevant field, with a graduate degree or professional designations being an asset. A minimum of 7 years' experience in banking, financial institutions, or management consulting, with a focus on business risk, is required. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical understanding of commercial, corporate, and investment banking products and services, as well as knowledge of the regulatory landscape and industry practices related to operational risk and business continuity management. Advanced proficiency in the Office Suite is necessary, and the candidate should be adept at problem-solving, decision-making, and managing crises.
