Heidelberg Materials North America operates over 450 locations across the U.S. and Canada with approximately 9,000 employees.What You'll Be DoingOversee QC for 11 agg plants, 2 HMA plants, Stroudsburg recycleProvide technical guidance and support to ~11 indirect reportsMonitor/manage day to day compliance with specifications/targetsHeavy engagement with QC Techs on testing, customer complaints, statistical trackingPerform hands-on lab work as required (Tech shortage, etc.)Must be available as required for nights/weekends (assuming this will be salaried position)Engage with Operations, Sales and Construction on product quality, bid specifications, etc.Annual update of state required PennDOT QC plans, also ensure compliance throughout yearOversite of daily DOT certificationsIdentify continuous improvement opportunities (product and yield optimization)Implementing required standards, processes in HM labsImplement corrective action for any deficiencies found in labs or TechniciansTraining and development of new TechniciansWhat Are We Looking ForPennDOT Aggregate Technician certification and PennDOT HMA Level 1 and level 2 Technician preferred.
