This role is pivotal in the development and implementation of modeling strategies, with a strong focus on artificial intelligence, decision science, and data strategy. The successful candidate will be responsible for navigating a dynamic business and regulatory environment, staying abreast of key legal developments, and engaging in strategic projects to advance the company's business opportunities. A background in engineering, science, intellectual property, artificial intelligence, decision science, or data strategy is preferred, as is experience in consumer lending, FCRA, and fair lending. Applicants must have a J.D. with admission to practice law in New York, at least 8 years of relevant work experience, and a proven ability to act as a trusted advisor to senior business leaders. The role requires a strategic thinker with excellent analytical skills, the ability to spot legal issues across various subject areas, and a strong capacity to communicate complex issues clearly and persuasively. The candidate should be adept at building strong relationships, collaborating with cross-functional stakeholders, and have a keen interest in understanding business needs to provide effective legal advice. Strong drafting, negotiation skills, and the ability to influence a large number of global stakeholders are essential. The position also demands a high level of executive presence, the ability to interact effectively at all organizational levels, and a commitment to upholding the company's values and standards.
