The successful candidate will be a key liaison between these functions and other critical stakeholders, ensuring that all teams are properly resourced and their goals are aligned with the company's objectives. This high-impact role involves developing and managing key performance metrics, serving as a troubleshooter for departmental processes, and spearheading major projects, including technology and process improvements. The Deputy CLO will also be a strategic advisor, managing departmental spend, and engaging in efforts to enhance the function's effectiveness. Applicants must have a minimum of 10 years' experience in various legal and compliance areas, with a strong background in financial services and technology. The role requires a self-starter with excellent project management, planning, and communication skills, who can make thoughtful legal decisions and is adept at conveying complex concepts to senior management. Experience in crypto is desirable. The ideal candidate will be a high-gear operator with superb judgment, integrity, and the ability to balance multiple projects.
