Summary JOB DESCRIPTION The OEM Sales Manager, reporting to the Director of OEM Sales, is responsible for maintaining and growing business to business sales of OEM products and technologies to companies within the United States (U.S.). The individual in this role will increase U.S. OEM sales volume through a variety of account activities, exceptional customer support and the utilization of technical medical device knowledge.Primary Responsibilities And DutiesHas overall accountability for and ownership of OEM product sales in the U.S.Interacts with U.S. OEM customers/prospects for the purpose of marketing and selling, evaluating performance and strength, delivery of customer product training, negotiating agreements, supporting customer product integration, and sales planning and forecasting.Attends tradeshows to provide sales support, generate leads, evaluate sales activities, strategies and strengths of the competition, identify new market and customer opportunities, and evaluate the success and perception of AB products.Maintains customer files and information in database.Prepares segment sales forecasts by units and dollars.Compares monthly sales results to goals and take corrective action where necessary with countermeasures.Provides sales input for annual strategic planning process.Interfaces with Product Management to provide customer feedback on product performance.Provides input on advertising, literature and promotion materials.Recommends pricing programs to remain competitive.Interfaces with QA regarding any observed or reported quality/safety issues.Knowledge and Skill Requirements:Bachelors of Science degree in mechanical engineering and 2+ years of successful technical sales experienceExperience in the logistics industry a plusProficient in Microsoft Office, i.e. Excel, PowerPoint, and Word;Excellent interpersonal and communication skills;Strategic planning and project execution;Capable of managing a variety of stakeholder relationships;Comfortable working in a changing international matrix organization;Flexible in approach and prepared to work outside normal working hours if required;Experience with CRM software is preferred;50%-75% travel required.Must have a valid driver's licenseMust be able to work in the USCompetenciesDrives results; Detail oriented;Mechanical aptitude;Ability to build relationships;Influence, negotiation and impact;Planning and organizing;Communicates effectively.Key Behaviors Are accountable to othersHave the courage to challenge the status quoAre honest with co-workers and customersAble to be innovative problem solversAre engaged team membersAdd value to the CompanyExpects excellence of self and othersOverserves top customers Understands, simplifies and acts to improve processesDemandsThe physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
