The successful candidate will be responsible for providing expert legal support and strategic advice on a wide range of global cybersecurity issues. This includes collaborating with colleagues worldwide on cutting-edge technology and cybersecurity risks, leading legal response efforts for cybersecurity incidents, and engaging in readiness and crisis response planning. The role also involves serving as a trusted advisor to the Chief Information Security Officer and other key functions, supporting key cybersecurity programs, and guiding the team in compliance with global regulatory requirements. Applicants must have a J.D. with eligibility to practice law in New York, a minimum of 8 years' of experience in cybersecurity legal issues, and a proven track record of leading high-performing teams. The role requires significant experience with global legal requirements related to cybersecurity, including various acts and regulations. The ideal candidate will have a strong interest in digital products and emerging technology, excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, and the ability to communicate complex issues clearly and persuasively. Responsibilities also include developing and advising on cybersecurity insurance issues, engaging in lobbying and compliance efforts for global cybersecurity requirements, and assisting in the development of the company's cybersecurity strategy and policies.
