The CMO will be responsible for demonstrating exceptional leadership and executive decision-making in a high-growth, results-driven environment, and must be adept at driving innovation and creating alignment across the organization. Key responsibilities include overseeing the clinical operations department, building trusting relationships with clients' key stakeholders, and supporting the development and execution of new product service offerings. The CMO will also be involved in clinical data analytics, and performance excellence, and will play a crucial role in sales and account management by strengthening relationships with existing and prospective clients. Applicants for the CMO position at the company must have an MD degree from an accredited institution, with an unrestricted license to practice medicine, and at least 10 years of healthcare experience, particularly in the health insurance industry. A background in physical medicine and rehabilitation, internal medicine, family practice, or another primary care specialty is required. The ideal candidate will have experience in utilization and case management, a proven track record of managing other clinicians, and experience with corporate budget management. A working understanding of clinical informatics is essential, and a management degree, board certification in a recognized specialty, and experience in geriatrics or post-acute care are preferred. The CMO will be expected to lead a team and work collaboratively to ensure the best possible care for patients and clients while meeting performance targets.
