The CFO will be responsible for ensuring the timely and accurate completion of monthly financial statements, maintaining the integrity of all balance sheet accounts, and preparing various corporate-required financial reports. This role also involves overseeing the revenue cycle operations, including accounts receivable collection and uncompensated care management, and ensuring compliance with all financial and business office policies. The CFO will be actively involved in the front-end revenue cycle processes, maintaining knowledge of reimbursement methodologies, and supervising various departments to ensure financial and operational efficiency. Candidates for the CFO position at the company should have a Bachelor's degree in accounting or a related field, with a minimum of 3 years' successful CFO experience in a healthcare setting. Previous experience in behavioral healthcare and with a proprietary healthcare system is highly preferred. The ideal candidate will have a CPA or Master's degree, proven financial analysis skills, and a strong background in information technology. Demonstrated leadership ability, excellent communication skills, and the capacity to think strategically and solve problems are essential. The CFO will be expected to lead with a high degree of emotional intelligence and ethics, and to establish and maintain effective working relationships with staff, physicians, and corporate personnel.
