The successful candidate will be responsible for providing vision, leadership, and stewardship of the organization's financial operations. This includes the continuous development and implementation of strategies to enhance financial and operational efficiencies without compromising the quality of care. The role involves close collaboration with the executive leadership team, particularly in the areas of strategic decision-making and ensuring the availability of resources to improve patient care. The SVP/CFO will also be a key figure in maintaining financial transparency, overseeing various financial functions, and leading the identification and implementation of operational strategies to meet business objectives. Candidates for the SVP/CFO position at the company should have a Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related business field, with a Master's degree preferred. A minimum of 10 years' of progressively responsible finance/accounting experience in a complex healthcare setting, and at least 5 years' of financial leadership experience, is required. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in decision-making, budgeting, and financial analysis, and a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) designation is preferred. The role demands a hands-on, operational leader with the ability to proactively identify and drive opportunities for cost containment and revenue generation while maintaining the integrity of financial reports.
