The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the College's strategic enrollment plan, providing leadership in DEI efforts, and working to transform the student experience. This role is pivotal in the College's mission to achieve Hispanic-Serving Institution status and meet equity goals. The VP will be expected to have a Master's degree in a relevant field, a minimum of 3 years of higher education leadership experience, and a strong background in strategic enrollment management and DEI initiatives. A Doctoral degree and experience at a Hispanic-Serving Institution are preferred. Key responsibilities for the Vice President of Strategic Enrollment and Equity include budget and human resource management, and active involvement in the College, community, and national initiatives. The role demands a leader with a solid understanding of Hispanic cultures, and fluency in Spanish is highly valued. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in fostering a culture of diversity, equity, and inclusion, and will be adept at managing, developing, and monitoring strategic processes. They will also be expected to work closely with the President's Executive Cabinet, lead key College committees, and represent the College in various capacities.
