The successful candidate will be responsible for directing large and complex projects, managing a team of senior and outside project managers, and ensuring that the work meets the company's standards for value, quality, cost, and schedule. This role involves close collaboration with major project clients, establishing communication protocols, and addressing issues that may affect the project's program, budget, scope, or timeline. The Executive Director will also be involved in early project planning, comprehensive risk management, and will be the key point of contact for local, state, and federal permitting processes. Applicants must have a Master's degree in a relevant field and a minimum of 10 years' experience in institutional project management. The role requires a candidate with a strong background in building project management, excellent negotiation skills, and a proven track record of fostering positive relationships in a diverse and decentralized environment. The ideal candidate will be adept at using online project management tools and Microsoft Office, and will have a history of successful collaboration with multidisciplinary teams.
