The CFOO will be a key partner with the Head of School and the Board of Trustees, responsible for developing and executing a strategic financial vision. This role involves overseeing the school's finance office, facilities and maintenance team, dining services, school security, and outsourced technology support. The successful candidate will lead the annual budgeting process, manage long-term financial planning, and work closely with the Board on strategic financial issues. Additionally, the CFOO will be involved in risk management, and school security, and will play a major role in the execution of the school's strategic plan. Applicants for the CFOO position at the company should have a Bachelor's degree in finance or accounting, with a CPA or Master's in accounting preferred, and at least 5 years' of experience in finance administration, ideally in an educational or nonprofit setting. The role requires a strong understanding of financial systems, GAAP, budgeting, and capital management, as well as experience in long-range financial planning and managing capital projects. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in a senior administrative role, demonstrated leadership qualities, and the ability to work collaboratively in a highly visible position. Personal attributes such as integrity, energy, and the ability to balance multiple priorities are essential.
