The successful candidate will be responsible for originating, structuring, and executing project finance transactions specifically for solar and battery storage projects in the U.S. This includes a range of financial instruments such as development loan facilities, tax equity partnerships, tax credit transfer transactions, construction loans, and term loans. The role also involves managing a team, external advisors, and transaction counsel, as well as negotiating transaction documentation, owning the financing model, and evaluating transaction risks. The Director/VP will be expected to have a high level of experience in building and maintaining Excel-based project finance models, and prior management experience is required. Applicants for the Director/VP Capital Markets position at the company should have 5-10 years' of experience in renewable energy project financing, with a specific requirement for tax equity transaction experience. The role demands a professional with a proven track record in reviewing and negotiating legal documents related to tax equity and debt transactions.
