The successful candidate will be responsible for identifying, advising, coordinating, and implementing effective project management practices to mitigate cost overruns and schedule delays within a significant capital construction portfolio. This role involves close collaboration with various regulatory and program administration units, as well as interagency and utility partners, to ensure the smooth progression of projects. The Executive Director will also be involved in strategic initiatives, and process changes, and will be the point of contact for project-related requests from the Commissioner's office and external entities. Applicants for the Executive Director position at the company should have a baccalaureate degree in a relevant field and at least 5 years of experience in engineering, architecture, construction, or a related discipline, with a minimum of 2 years in a managerial or supervisory capacity. Alternatively, a high school diploma and 9 years of experience, with 2 years in a similar capacity, will be considered. The role requires excellent strategy and management skills, as well as the ability to communicate effectively and prioritize critical project assignments. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in operational, administrative, or supervisory roles, and be adept at tracking and monitoring project delivery, ensuring alignment of scope and budget, and overseeing process and system enhancements.
