The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring that the agency meets all relevant regulations, laws, and policies, particularly those related to hospice and Medicare/Medicaid. This role involves direct oversight of daily operations, including care management processes, and requires a hands-on approach to patient care, financial review, and participation in quality assurance and performance improvement activities. Candidates for the Executive Director position must have a relevant license as a physician, registered nurse, social worker, or a Bachelor's degree with a minimum of 3 years' experience in a related field and at least 1 year in a hospice, home health, or similar healthcare setting. A strong background in healthcare leadership, with a preference for at least 3 years, is also required. The role demands a leader who is immediately available and can be on-site during business hours, with the flexibility to be available after hours as needed. The Executive Director will be expected to engage with diverse teams, create strategies for best-in-class patient and family care, and ensure the agency's financial performance aligns with the delivery of quality care.
