The successful candidate will be a key partner to the CEO, with a focus on strategic, operational, and financial decision-making. This role requires a leader with a strategic view of the healthcare landscape, a passion for improving the health and wellbeing of women and infants, and a history of strong performance in a complex and competitive healthcare environment. The COO will be responsible for establishing and optimizing operational systems, leading major strategic and operational initiatives, and fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and excellence. Additionally, the COO will be expected to build and support strong relationships with the community, the Board of Directors, and the medical staff, and to ensure the organization's continued success through the development of strategic partnerships and the enhancement of patient-centered care. Candidates for the COO position at the company should have a bachelor's degree (a master's is preferred) and at least ten years of progressive healthcare operational leadership experience. The ideal candidate will be an accountable leader, an innovator, and a change agent with a proven track record of driving transformational change and improvement.
