The successful candidate will be a dedicated, licensed administrator with a strong background in leading a senior living community, particularly in the areas of assisted living and memory care. The Executive Director will be responsible for all strategic and operational aspects of the community, including people experience, business development, customer service, and fiscal and clinical management. This role requires a leader with an entrepreneurial spirit, who can make quick, informed decisions within regulatory compliance guidelines and is committed to providing an exceptional experience for both team members and residents. Key responsibilities for the Executive Director include overseeing all department managers, financial management, maintaining occupancy, and ensuring a safe and thriving environment for residents. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience, an administrator license (if required by State regulations), and a solid understanding of dementia and Alzheimer's care. Essential skills include demonstrated leadership, communication, problem-solving, and the ability to handle sensitive issues with confidence. The role also demands a strong understanding of finance, accounting, budgeting, human resources, and sales, as well as the ability to form and maintain relationships with staff, residents, and their families. The Executive Director will be expected to travel up to 10% of the time and must be prepared for the physical demands of the role, which may include working with residents who exhibit disruptive behaviors.
