The successful candidate will be responsible for managing a team that includes external and internal accounting, as well as business systems. This role involves overseeing all aspects of accounting, financial reporting, and operations to ensure compliance with US GAAP. The VP-Controller will also be tasked with streamlining financial processes, managing the full cycle of the accounts payable process, and preparing and communicating various financial statements. Additionally, the role requires the implementation of consistent accounting policies, development of internal financial control procedures, and coordination of both internal and external audits. Applicants for the VP-Controller position at the company must have a CPA certification, a Bachelor's degree in a related field, and a minimum of 10 years' financial accounting experience, particularly within the manufacturing sector. The role demands a high level of proficiency in Microsoft Office, with experience in Blackline and/or Financial Force being a plus. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of US GAAP, excellent organizational and analytical skills, and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
