The successful candidate will be responsible for providing comprehensive medical oversight across all company functions, with a particular emphasis on medical safety and regulatory compliance. This includes overseeing medical safety from product design to post-market surveillance, serving as the senior medical director of the Independent Diagnostic Testing Facility (IDTF), and ensuring clinical excellence and safety in IDTF services. The role also involves scientific leadership, cross-functional collaboration, and integration of medical perspectives into the company's operations. Applicants must have an MD or equivalent medical degree with subspecialty board certification in cardiac electrophysiology or cardiology, an active medical license, and a minimum of 15 years' combined experience in clinical practice, academic medicine, and the medical device industry, particularly in cardiovascular diagnostics and digital health. Strong leadership, management, and communication skills are essential, as is a proven track record in implementing medical safety programs and driving clinical innovation. The role requires a deep understanding of FDA regulations, experience in ambulatory ECG IDTF operations, and expertise in AI and machine learning applications in healthcare. The Chief Medical Safety Officer will also be instrumental in shaping the company's medical strategy, advancing scientific initiatives, and maintaining its position as a leader in the industry.
