Chief Sales Officer About the Company Top-tier pet food manufacturer IndustryFood Production TypePrivately Held About the Role The Company is seeking a Chief Sales Officer (CSO) to join its executive team and lead the sales function in the US. The CSO will be a key driver of the company's sales performance, responsible for shaping and executing the sales strategy. This includes leading the sales department, managing all sales team members and processes, setting and achieving sales goals, and fostering direct customer relationships. The role also involves developing strategic sales initiatives, creating and managing the sales department budget, and producing sales forecasts and reports. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of a Bachelor's degree, with a Master's/Graduate degree preferred, and at least 5 years' of experience in CPG, pet, and/or private label business account management, with a strong background in B2B sales and relationships. Candidates for the CSO position at the company should possess strong leadership and management skills, be adept at problem-solving, and have a proven track record of motivating and influencing teams to achieve results. The role requires a strategic thinker with excellent organizational, analytical, and technical skills, including proficiency in MS Office applications, SAP, and other ERP systems.
