The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring that new and existing products meet customer, business, and regulatory requirements. This role involves close collaboration with cross-functional teams, including NPD, engineering, quality, and operations, to develop and maintain processes for product commercialization. The Head of Technical Services will also be tasked with monitoring product performance, optimizing processes, and managing product trials to ensure quality, compliance, and cost-effectiveness. Applicants for the Head of Technical Services position at the company must have a Bachelor's degree in food science, food engineering, or a related field, and a proven track record in taking products from the bench to commercialization, with a focus on formulation and scale-up for plant production. The role requires experience in leading a team of technical supervisors or managers, as well as a strong background in project management, operations, quality assurance, and regulatory compliance. A deep scientific knowledge of food ingredients and their interactions, particularly in the context of dairy and beverage processing, is essential.
