The successful candidate will be a visionary leader with a deep understanding of industry trends, customer needs, and the competitive landscape, capable of translating this vision into actionable strategies. This role involves close collaboration with cross-functional teams, including product development, marketing, sales, and customer success, to ensure the alignment and implementation of strategic initiatives that enhance the company's market position. The VP will also be responsible for leading the strategic planning process, representing the company at various industry events, and driving cross-functional collaboration to ensure the successful execution of the strategy. Applicants for the Vice President of Design & Manufacturing (D&M) Industry Strategy position at the company should have a Bachelor's degree in business, engineering, or a related field, with an MBA or similar advanced degree preferred. A minimum of 10 years' experience in the D&M industry, with a proven track record in strategic leadership and business development, is required. The role demands a candidate with strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and presentation skills, who can influence and inspire stakeholders at all levels. Experience in a global, matrixed organization is preferred, and a background in a large consulting firm is a plus. The ideal candidate will be adept at building and maintaining relationships with industry stakeholders and will be prepared to travel as needed.
