The successful candidate will be responsible for identifying and developing new partnership opportunities, as well as retaining and growing existing partnerships through strategic renewals and upsells. This leadership role demands a visionary and results-oriented individual with a proven track record in the sports and entertainment industry, particularly in the areas of commercial partnership sales and fulfillment. The SVP will be tasked with overseeing and coordinating venue sales efforts, implementing consistent commercial strategies, and providing dedicated support and mentorship to the commercial teams at each property. Candidates for the SVP position should have a Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, with an MBA preferred, and at least 15 years' of experience in the sports, entertainment, or venue sales industry. Essential skills include a strong ability to develop and manage high-performing commercial partnerships, demonstrated leadership and mentorship skills, and a proven track record in driving revenue through partnerships. The role requires excellent communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills, as well as the ability to build and maintain strong relationships with clients, partners, and internal stakeholders. The ideal candidate will be highly results-oriented, with a strong business acumen and the ability to lead a sales team to achieve and exceed targets. Proficiency in the Microsoft Office suite and CRM systems is essential, and the candidate should be adept at using these tools to manage sales pipelines and track performance.
