The successful candidate will be responsible for managing complex, interconnected projects within the retail bank control management, with a focus on overseeing, resolving, and remediating high-severity issues, as well as managing business performance analytics and scorecard management. This role is pivotal in providing strategic support to the leadership team and will involve owning, developing, enhancing, and executing account opening-related processes and programs. The Program Management Lead will also be instrumental in coordinating with the lines of business to align the account opening process across various channels and will be expected to perform key controls to mitigate risk, continually identify automation opportunities, and enhancements. Applicants must have a minimum of 6 years' related experience in a combination of retail banking, issues management, technology, customer communication, operations, and/or controls. A Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience is required. The role demands a strategic professional with a strong technical background, developed communication, and diplomacy skills. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in process and project management, be detail-oriented, and analytical, with the ability to manage several large initiatives simultaneously. Experience in control design and ongoing program governance is essential, as is the ability to appropriately assess risk and establish proper data metrics and reporting structures. The role has a significant impact on the US Retail Bank's account opening processes and requires the ability to provide well-reasoned, balanced assessments and to influence and guide colleagues across the organization.
